Bob Resco Joins Federated Auto Parts As Director Of National Accounts

Resco began his 32-year aftermarket career in 1982.

STAUNTON, Va. – Bob Resco has joined Federated Auto Parts as director of national accounts. His appointment was announced today by Larry Pavey, president of Federated Auto Parts.

His knowledge and experience serving national accounts will be a real asset to our group. We know he will make a positive impact on the future of Federated by building and strengthening strategic partnerships between our members, customers and suppliers.”
 
A graduate of William Patterson University in Wayne, N.J., Resco began his 32-year aftermarket career in 1982 and progressed through a variety of positions at Meineke, including general manager, company-owned service centers. In 1999, he became director of national accounts for Pep Boys, serving as the single point of contact for all national and regional account programs nationwide.
 
In 2002, Resco was named director of national accounts for Advance Auto Parts, where he developed and executed national account strategy, increasing national account business during his tenure. From there, he joined General Parts Inc./CARQUEST, spending more than five years as vice president, national accounts. During his time at GPI/CARQUEST, Resco oversaw increased sales, while serving as the primary contact for major national and regional accounts.
