Bendix Expands Remanufactured Components Offering With New All Makes Line

First products available include more than 100 reman compressor part numbers.

Bendix - LogoELYRIA, Ohio – Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has expanded its lineup of remanufactured components with the launch of the All Makes product line. Designed to initially address the growing demand for remanufactured (reman) compressors, the All Makes line features more than 100 non-Bendix compressor part numbers while also incorporating 20 new offerings from Bendix. The company said it plans to add more compressor products throughout 2015, as well as introduce a variety of additional commercial vehicle All Makes product lines.

The All Makes product line offering features several reman compressors previously not available from Bendix. The company said these new additions help to further broaden the company’s reman compressor offering, now including genuine Bendix compressors, as well as compressors from Cummins/Holset, Midland and WABCO.

“Just as the industry has demonstrated a renewed focus on remanufacturing to reduce the cost of replacement parts, Bendix has renewed its commitment to delivering a comprehensive line of quality reman products. We’re focused on restoring parts to original equipment or better performance levels to deliver products that help fleets and vehicle owners extend vehicle life and reduce the total cost of vehicle ownership,” said Henry Foxx, Bendix director of remanufactured products. “By expanding our reman compressor offering to include the industry’s most popular part numbers, including genuine Bendix compressors, we’re making it easier than ever for our customers to find what they need from a single supplier.”

When it comes to remanufactured parts, quality manufacturing and testing are critical, according to Bendix. For validation testing, the company ensures every All Makes compressor completes an end-of-the-line validation to ensure optimal field performance and increased service life. Bendix, which has a nearly 40-year legacy as a remanufacturing leader, stands behind every All Makes compressor with an industry-leading warranty program.

“The All Makes reman lineup incorporates the decades of engineering validation, defect detection and testing know-how Bendix has developed as an original equipment producer to deliver reliable products,” Foxx said. “We’re also focused on availability and have implemented a new stocking strategy based on product popularity to ensure more parts are readily available – so our customers can keep their trucks on the road and making money.”
