MOBILE, Ala. – BBB Industries has announced the appointment of automotive industry veterans Joseph Beretta, James Orchard, Kishor Pendse and Dominic Romeo to its board of directors.
Commenting on the new board additions, Interim CEO and Vice Chairman Don Bigler, said, “We are delighted that Joe, Jim, Kishor and Dom have agreed to join our board. We believe that they bring a diverse wealth of industry knowledge and experience that will guide and support our continued growth.”
BBB Industries is majority owned by Pamplona Capital Partners IV LP, which acquired the business in November 2014. Pamplona professionals Martin Schwab, Derek Whitworth and Paul MacDuff complete the eight-member board. Romeo also serve as the chairman of the Audit Committee.
Beretta brings a wide range of executive experience including manufacturing, global sourcing, supply-chain management, sales and marketing, distribution operations, new product development and engineering. Between 2013 and 2014, he was acting COO for Parts Life Inc. Prior to Parts Life, he was co-president at Dorman Products. He also held numerous senior roles during his tenure with CARDONE Industries.
Orchard is an experienced executive in both the OE and aftermarket markets, focusing on operational cost efficiencies, revenue and margin growth. He is currently a board member at Spartan Motors Inc. and the previous CEO of Dayco LLC. Prior to Dayco, he was president, North America, and member of Executive Committee with Faurecia. Additionally, he held executive positions in Visteon, ZF Friedrichschafen AG and Dana Corp.
Pendse is an expert in Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing, M/A Process and integration implementation. He is currently president and CEO of Pendse Group LLC. Prior to that, he held the position of president of Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC. He also held several significant leadership roles within TRW, including president of TRW Koyo Steering. Pendse is currently a member of the board of directors of Mantaline Inc.
Romeo is an experienced finance executive and has a successful track record of developing high-performing finance organizations. He has held chief financial officer positions with Thor Industries and IDEX Corp. and within Honeywell Corp.’s Aerospace Segment. Prior to Honeywell, he worked with General Electric. He began his career in public accounting with Price Waterhouse. Romeo is currently a board member for GSIG Group as well.
