From BodyShop Business
Dave Henderson, founder of AutoWatch, a system that allows body shop customers to literally see the progress of their vehicle repair through the Internet and a shop’s interactive website, died suddenly at his home on June 20. He was 62.
Henderson is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon, children Melissa, Jason, Bryan and Daniel, and a host of grandchildren and siblings. Family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at Coats Funeral Home in Clarkston, Michigan. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25 at Hope Community Church, 1240 Jay Street, Waterford, Michigan.
His passions, according to an obituary on the Coats Funeral Home website, were water skiing, boating, remote airplanes, scuba diving, family reunions and youth ministries.
See Progress Inc., Henderson’s company that provided the AutoWatch solution, was sold to Audatex, a Solera Company, in 2011.
