Autopromotec 2017 Releases Forecast For Event

The organizers say even the predictions in terms of professional visitors arriving in Bologna for the event are significant: more than 100,000 visitors are expected, with a marked increase in international operators compared to Autopromotec 2015.

Autopromotec 2017, the international automotive equipment and aftermarket exhibition to be held on May 24-28 in Bologna, is expected to be one of the largest and most international editions ever, a meeting point for exhibitors and visitors from around the world.

As of today, about 1,700 exhibitors have confirmed their participation, with a significant share of foreign companies. This means a 10 percent increase in exhibitors and occupied surface area compared to the last edition in 2015. Confirming the high level of specialization that has always characterized the Autopromotec trade fair, most of the halls were “Sold Out” in advance, say the event organizers. A considerable number of companies are currently on the waitlist for the sectors of spare parts, components, car services, tire assistance equipment, diagnostic equipment, equipment and products for bodywork, lifting and workshop equipment, tools, compressors and multifunctional equipment.

Thanks to the collaboration with Italian Trade Commission – Promotion Agency (ICE), the Internationalization of Italian companies (ITA) and Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna, Autopromotec 2017 is expected to attract more than 120 institutional buyers from more than 30 countries. Specifically, the important agreement signed with ICE will bring in foreign trade delegations from Australia, Azerbaijan, Korea, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Japan, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Mexico, Qatar, United States and Tanzania. The event also will be attended by institutional delegations from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Russia, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. In collaboration with Unioncamere Emilia-Romagna and the Enterprise Europe Network (the network of European Chambers of Commerce), additional delegates from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine will participate in Autopromotec 2017.

All the meetings will take place within the “Circuito delle Idee” (Circuit of Ideas,) the space set up within the four-sided portico of the Bologna trade fair district (West-Costituzione entrance), which also will host the meeting rooms of AutopromotecEDU and will represent the true meeting point for international networking at the fair.

The organizers say even the predictions in terms of professional visitors arriving in Bologna for the event are significant: more than 100,000 visitors are expected, with a marked increase in international operators compared to Autopromotec 2015. In fact, between 22,000 and 25,000 visitors from around the world are expected. As far as the trade press is concerned, there will be about 250 specialized journalists at the trade show.
