Autopart International Recognizes Supplier Partners

Autopart International presented its 2015 Supplier of the Year Awards to the supplier partners that most actively supported Autopart International’s commitment to premium parts and expert service. The following award winners were named:

New Supplier of the Year: DEC, located in Van Nuys, California
North American Supplier of the Year: Motorad of America, located in Vaughan, Ontario
Global Supplier of the Year: Yangzhou Focus Shock Absorber Co. and Yantia Mefine Machine Co.

“Strong partnerships with our suppliers are key to our product strategy. We appreciate the support we receive in the form of quality product, training and marketing,” said Rich Jolivet, vice president of global sourcing and product management for Autopart International. “Their efforts bolster our commitment to deliver premium parts and expert service to the professional installer.

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.

“Federated is constantly looking at ways to improve value for all constituents and this agreement provides that,” said Sue Godschalk, president of Federated. “This collaboration provides added volume and opportunities for our suppliers, new partners for our members, and added supply points and products for shop customers. We have enjoyed working closely with several AIOD members in the past and this agreement will expand and create further opportunities for both Federated and AIOD.”
