The “Happiest Place on Earth” is about to get more crowded. The Automotive Distribution Network has sold out its 14th Network National Convention, with an overflow crowd expected March 15-18 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando.
“My hat’s off to The Network’s members, jobbers and service dealers for taking time off from their respective businesses to sharpen their skillset and network with other professionals who are as equally committed to the group’s success,” said David Prater, president of The Network. “The 14th national convention represents everything The Network is about, as our affiliates at every level seek to continually evolve and thrive in an ever-changing industry.”
This year, The Network will host more seminars than ever – 66 in all – featuring 15 different instructors and more than 35 topics. Attendees also will benefit from talking shop face-to-face with the group’s vendor partners on the massive floor of the manufacturer exposition. In addition, Network affiliates will be meeting with reps from the Auto Care Political Action Committee (ACPAC) to ensure their voice is heard in Washington, D.C., regarding industry issues.
Attendance this year was undoubtedly sparked by the destination, says The Network. The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort features three championship golf courses, 17 restaurants offering cuisine from every corner of the planet and shuttles to the four nearby Disney parks. The event closes with a St. Patrick’s Day Bash, followed by a special viewing of “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” Epcot’s fireworks and laser show.
