Auto-Wares Acquires Thompson Auto Supply

Auto-Wares Group of Companies has announced plans to acquire Thompson Auto Supply of St. Charles and Batavia, Illinois. This acquisition includes two store locations that are owned and operated by brothers Bill, Dan and Tom Ryan. These independent stores have been in business for 41 years.

Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Auto-Wares serves a five-state region providing the complete parts needs for 600 stores and thousands of service centers since 1976. Auto-Wares Group of Companies is a member of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance.

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.
