Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Draws The King & Kasey Sweepstakes Winner

Lucky fan wins 2009 Dodge Challenger and 'trip of a lifetime.'

SAN ANTONIO – Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper have announced that one lucky race fan has been awarded the grand prize of The King & Kasey Sweepstakes. During a random drawing, Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper drew the entry of Michael Johnson, a longtime racing fan from Marietta, Ga., who will receive a 2009 Dodge Challenger, a trip for two to the race weekend in Charlotte, N.C., and a chance to meet Richard Petty and Kasey Kahne. Johnson and a guest will have all-access passes to Friday night’s Nationwide Series race in which Kasey Kahne will be behind the wheel of the No. 43 Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper car.

Richard Petty (“The King”) and Kasey Kahne joined Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper in the inaugural The King & Kasey Sweepstakes where participants registered to instantly win daily prizes and vie for the coveted grand prize that was awarded to Johnson. The promotion began May 16 and concluded Sept. 13. Customers of Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper were eligible to enter online by visiting the official sweepstakes website, www.TheKingandKasey.com.

“I’ve won other prizes, but nothing of this magnitude,” said Johnson. “This will be my first new car and one I will treasure. Plus, I have always wanted to have an up-close and personal meeting with Kasey and Richard Petty. Thanks to all of the folks at Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper for making this all possible.”

This is Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s fifth season as a partner of Richard Petty Motorsports. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper serves as primary sponsor on Reed Sorenson’s No. 43 Sprint Cup Series Dodge for 2 races in 2009, as well as associate sponsor on Kasey Kahne’s No. 9 Dodge, and Elliott Sadler’s No. 19 Dodge. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper will also serve as primary sponsor for two races in the Nationwide Series, one with Elliott Sadler at New Hampshire, and one with Kasey Kahne at Charlotte.
