Auto 7 Announces Hiring of New Warehouse Manager

Chacon joins Auto 7 team after 15 years at the helm of former EuroPacific Parts International facility in Ft. Lauderdale.

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Auto 7 Inc. has hired Armando Chacon to lead its warehouse team and manage the company’s 37,500-square-foot facility located in Miramar, Fla. Chacon brings a vast amount of warehouse management experience to his new role at Auto 7, particularly with respect to the complicated nature of OE part number-oriented world of import application coverage.

Prior to joining Auto 7, Chacon managed the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., facility of EuroPacific Parts International (EPI) for the past 15 years. Due to a recent sale, that facility was scheduled to close this fall. Prior to his time with EPI, Chacon was involved in the launch of Westex Automotive in Florida, which was eventually purchased by AutoGear.

“Armando has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in efficiently managing inventories aligned to support the specialized and complex world of import applications,” commented Auto 7 President Jon Owens. “He is a highly qualified professional and has already paid huge dividends in helping us set up and implement our new warehouse management system powered by SAP.”

“Auto 7 represents a new and exciting chapter in my career,” added Chacon. “We have a great team here, and our concept of supplying original equipment parts for Hyundai, Kia and Daewoo vehicles perfectly matches and satisfies the already huge and growing demand for these parts out in the market.”

Chacon will manage a team of six professionals, and will be responsible for all receiving, incoming inspection, customer shipping, returns processing, cycle counting and various inventory management duties, among others.

Auto 7 is part of an international group of companies, which has more than 50 years of experience in supplying original equipment automotive parts to the aftermarket.
