This new position will support Bosch’s growing business in the Mass Channel. The primary focus will be on Wiper Blades, Filters, Spark Plugs and Brakes.
Basic Functions
The Account Administrator assists the Account Manager by handling all duties supporting major accounts. He/She will provide sales service functions and act as liaison with major accounts and Bosch marketing and sales areas including planning and distribution functions.
Principal Responsibilities
The Account Administrator establishes effective relationships with Business Analysts within the Mass Channel in order to maximize Bosch’s partnerships with these customers. He/She will work with Business Units, Category Management, Marketing and Sales departments, to identify customer specific sales opportunities. He/She will research account sales & service histories and business & economic trends to anticipate, forecast and develop proactive programs to meet future customer needs. In addition, the Account Administrator will project and forecast sales requirements subject to technological, customer and market variances. He/She will coordinate sales support, marketing and service programs; as well as work with customers and internal departments on projects, problems, or to conduct research for accounts. This position will work with internal departments to help develop appropriate product and service support including promotions, pricing, billing, distribution, warranty, etc. He/She will coordinate business planning activities including budget tracking for department, preparation of financial reports, specialized data compilation (sales tracker / query), interpretation and preparation. In addition, will report to management any changes, innovations and other developments in the market. Finally, he/she may attend and/or participate in sales meetings and occasionally present information at dealer meetings, conventions and trade shows as required.
Scope Factors
• Customer base group includes multiple accounts, which reflects approximately $225 million in annual sales.
• Provide excellent support through problem recognition and problem solving to best serve the needs of the customer base.
• Support business/department initiatives through varying degrees of customer contact.
• Problems arise due to the complexity of Bosch administrative policies, lead times, etc.
• Limited travel may be required.
Job Requirements
Required
• Bachelors degree in sales, marketing or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in sales, data analysis or related area demonstrating strong analytical, strategy development and problem resolution skills.
• Strong Project Management, Data Management and Computer skills
• Strong sales forecasting skills
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal, written and interaction skills required
• Strong organization skills, good work ethic, delivers on commitments
Preferred
• WalMart Retail Link, Sears Business Exchange, Sears Work Bench and/or Lowes Link knowledge or experience preferred
• Sales mainframe experience a plus
• Technical knowledge of customer specifications, product applications, etc. a plus
