Asian Coverage Added For MAHLE TechPRO Diagnostic Scan Tool

Software updates cover all Mazda vehicles from 2007-’14, plus a majority of 2003-’06 vehicles. Nissan coverage includes complete coverage of 2007-’14 vehicles.

MAHLE Service Solutions has added coverage for Mazda and Nissan vehicles for its TechPRO diagnostic scan tool. Software updates cover all Mazda vehicles from 2007-’14, plus a majority of 2003-’06 vehicles. Nissan coverage includes complete coverage of 2007-’14 vehicles.

MAHLE - TechPROThe TechPRO diagnostic scan tool was designed for busy technicians by making it easy to use and quick to launch, according to the company. MAHLE says TechPRO can decode a vehicle identification number (VIN) in seconds with one click. A scan of vehicle wide diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) on all modules takes 30 seconds or less with the Bluetooth-enabled vehicle communication interface (VCI).

The TechPRO diagnostic scan tool is made in the U.S. and engineered so technicians have a faster and easier way to diagnose and repair vehicles by using their current Windows 7, 8 or 10 based tablet, laptop or desktop computer, making it unnecessary to buy or lease extra hardware.

A subscription to TechPRO includes the VCI and software; NAPA offers an exclusive two-year software subscription (extended from one-year) with each TechPRO automotive diagnostic system purchased for a price of $1,599. NAPA offers the same subscription package with an 8-inch Windows tablet included for $1,999; an upgrade to a 10-inch tablet also is available for an additional $200.

TechPRO coverage includes domestic vehicle model years between 2007-’14. Regular software updates continue to increase domestic coverage to include model years dating back to 2003 and Asian vehicles from 2003-’14. Regular updates also are provided for OBD2 generic code information from 1996 to present.

TechPRO is available exclusively through NAPA until June 30.
