MERRIMACK, N.H. On July 29, ASA Automotive Systems, a provider of software systems and services to independent tire dealers, concluded its 17th annual InfoExpo client conference at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas. As part of the Friedman Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., ASA joined forces with the Friedman User Group Conference for this year’s event. The combined attendance for the conference was more than 350 people.
Each year, the ASA InfoExpo Conference brings together some of the nation’s leading tire dealers to network with peers and gain new insights about how they can stay more competitive by optimizing the use of their mission-critical business management software systems. According to ASA, this year’s InfoExpo conference stayed true to form and included in-depth technology insights and previews of business issue-driven designs that will be added into upcoming software releases.
A memorable highlight of the conference was keynote Ross Shafer, a six-time Emmy Award-winning comedian, writer and TV host. Shafer has written and produced 14 human resource training films on customer service, motivation and leadership. In his keynote speech, Shafer addressed this concept of “running with the herd,” which generally means making sure that your business model, products and services give the people what they want and the “herd” will follow.
The conference featured select ASA technology partners that deliver complimentary solutions to maximize profits, streamline operations and provide superior customer service. The meeting also integrated engaging social and networking events at the Hyatt Regency Austin venue, as well as two downtown Austin hotspots, Buffalo Billiards and Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar. The conference Guidebook Mobile App put things all together and kept the attendees connected and informed about the business sessions and social events throughout the conference.
At the InfoExpo conference closing session, ASA recognized Boulevard Tire Center of Deland, Fla., as the Dealer of the Year (DOTY) award winner. This annual award recognizes exceptional dealers like Boulevard that are driven to succeed by enthusiastically embracing technology to work smarter to maintain their competitive edge. Cheryl Kervin and Summer Meents accepted the DOTY award on behalf of Boulevard Tire Center.
“We’d like to thank all of our customers and partners who participated at the ASA InfoExpo conference this year,” said Ken Halle, president of ASA Automotive Systems. “We are dedicated to supporting our customers’ success by creating exceptional value through our technology. The enthusiasm we received from our clients to ASA’s latest software updates and planned innovations indicates that our software is not only highly sought after by tire dealers, but it is paving the way for the rest of the industry.”
