AOCA Announces New E-Learning Technician Academy Training

The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has launched a new e-Learning program focusing on technician training, part of its Technician Academy Training program. The program consists of eight interactive learning modules and quizzes corresponding to the chapters in the “Tech Academy,” as well as a technician certification test, consisting of 100 questions.

DALLAS — The Automotive Oil Change Association (AOCA) has launched a new e-Learning program focusing on technician training, part of its Technician Academy Training program.

“First and foremost, AOCA believes in the value of offering high-quality training to all AOCA members,” said Steve Christie, executive director. “To add even greater flexibility and accessibility, we are proud to offer this comprehensive training program on the Internet.”

The program consists of eight interactive learning modules and quizzes corresponding to the chapters in the “Tech Academy,” as well as a technician certification test, consisting of 100 questions.

“Lube managers can easily track employee progress through the online reporting system,” said Dave Jensen, AOCA board vice president. “There is no more waiting for results to arrive in the mail. Quizzes and certification tests are scored immediately.”

Members can access the training from any Internet-enabled computer, any time, day or night. An annual subscription fee includes access to the training modules and the grading of five certification tests.
