The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) has announced the addition of Timothy Hatcher to its staff as manager, technical operations. Hatcher’s duties include overseeing MAP Technical Committee activities, establishing topics and presenters, as well as managing the association’s various technical services for membership.
Hatcher graduated cum laude from Southern Illinois University (SIU) Carbondale with a baccalaureate in Automotive Technology. Along with his studies at SIU, he worked delivering IT support to the automotive program, maintaining and troubleshooting the campus network, computers and diagnostic equipment. Over the past five years, Hatcher has worked for Bridgestone Retail Operations as a service manager and store manager. While at BSRO, he utilized his technical and management education, aiding in the day-to-day operations of the service shop as well as the retail store operation. He is an ASE Master Technician with L1 Advanced Certification.
