Amazon.com And FindItParts.com To Examine e-Commerce At Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue 2014

A full day of high-impact content will be presented by world-class experts and industry leaders, providing attendees with an in-depth look at the present and future market conditions.

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay and Co., hosts of HD Aftermarket Dialogue ’14, have announced additional featured presenters for the Jan. 27, 2014, event.

Joel Mann, senior vendor manager for truck accessories at Amazon.com, and David Seewack, president and CEO of FindItParts.com, will present a segment titled, “The Rise of the eAftermarket – How eCommerce is Changing the Industry,” with their views of the current state and a forward look at this emerging segment of the heavy-duty aftermarket industry.

Another featured program segment, “Branded for Life? Building Loyalty with Branding,” will explore and discuss trends with private labeling, branded product and customer preferences and loyalties. Featured presenters will be Steve Crowley of VIPAR Heavy Duty and Michelle Calbi of Navistar.

These expert presentations will serve as lead-ins to in-depth panel discussions with key fleet executives, including Dwayne Haug of Werner Enterprises, Roy Svehla of Republic Industries and Richard Kleintop of Miami-Dade County and a distribution executive panel, with Mike McKay of Kenworth Sales Co., Edward Neeley of Truck Supply Co. of SC and Geoff Garafola of Inland Truck Parts.
