INDIANAPOLIS — Allison Transmission Holdings has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock.
Allison Transmission is among the world’s largest manufacturers of fully-automatic transmissions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, medium- and heavy-tactical U.S. military vehicles and hybrid-propulsion systems for transit buses.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Citi, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as the underwriters for the proposed IPO.
