Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Promotes Barbara Ashworth To eCatalog And iSupport Manager

AshworthSAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance has promoted Barbara Ashworth to eCatalog and iSupport Manager to assist the company’s needs for robust product data and its production into the Alliance’s Technology Suite. She will report to Dale Hopkins, vice president and CIO of the Alliance.

“Barbara has consistently demonstrated a level of competency and professionalism in every assignment we have given her since she joined our team,” said Hopkins.

“As the Information Technology team forges ahead with new and expanding initiatives, Barbara will play an essential role in our continued success.”

In her new capacity, Ashworth and her team of data analysts will work with Alliance channel partners to deliver robust and replete data throughout the Alliance supply chain. Additionally, she will oversee support of the Alliance Technology Suite.

“The Alliance is keenly aware that in today’s competitive marketplace it really is all about the data,” said John Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “Barbara has the skills and passion to lead our data team and help maintain its IT leadership position in the aftermarket.”

Ashworth spent 25 years with Epicor (formerly Activant Solutions) in a variety of data management positions in Livermore, Calif. Since she joined the Alliance in 2011 to help roll out MyPlaceForParts, she has continued to take on increasing roles and responsibilities including development of the Alliance Supplies, Accessories, and Tools eCatalog and oversight of the Alliance Google Search solution.
