AkzoNobel Hosts Capital Markets Day 2014

The event is intended to give analysts and investors further insight into the operational strategies AkzoNobel is pursuing in its three business areas and will feature an introduction from CEO Ton Buchner as well as presentations from the responsible executive committee members and from CFO Keith Nichols.

THE NETHERLANDS – AkzoNobel today is hosting a Capital Markets Day in London. The event is intended to give analysts and investors further insight into the operational strategies AkzoNobel is pursuing in its three business areas and will feature an introduction from CEO Ton Büchner as well as presentations from the responsible executive committee members and from CFO Keith Nichols.
 
Previewing the event, Büchner commented, "At our previous Capital Markets Day a year ago we introduced a new company-wide vision and strategy, as well as financial targets for 2015 focused on quality of earnings and value creation. A year on, we are on track to achieve these goals, and today I am looking forward to providing more color on the operational strategies we are implementing in our three business areas under the leadership of my executive committee colleagues Ruud Joosten (Decorative Paints), Conrad Keijzer (Performance Coatings) and Werner Fuhrmann (Specialty Chemicals)."
