Aisin World Corp. Of America Announces Approval From ‘The Group’

Aisin World Corp. of America Inc. (AWA), a Tier 1 automotive components supplier, has announced it has been “approved” by the Automotive Parts Services Group (APSG) – The Group – Pronto/Federated, at their recent combined shareholder and membership meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona. The announcement was made by Charles Pariano, senior manager sales and marketing, North America Aftermarket Division – Aisin.

Pariano said, “AISIN looks forward to a continued relationship with these two fine organizations going forward, while expanding our product distribution in North America with their membership. AISIN’s aftermarket sales and marketing strategy in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, is to maintain our company’s overall relationships with traditional and new aftermarket customers across the product categories we offer.”

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.

“Federated is constantly looking at ways to improve value for all constituents and this agreement provides that,” said Sue Godschalk, president of Federated. “This collaboration provides added volume and opportunities for our suppliers, new partners for our members, and added supply points and products for shop customers. We have enjoyed working closely with several AIOD members in the past and this agreement will expand and create further opportunities for both Federated and AIOD.”
