RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. The agenda has now been set for the Fall Conference of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) Technology Council (ATC), slated for Sunday, Oct. 13, through Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Marco Island, Fla. The event will focus on the theme “Convergence: Business & Technology.”
“The walls between IT and business have fallen full service suppliers are realizing how synergies resulting from collaborative activities are essential to driving new business, meeting customer requirements and reducing costs,” said Chris Gardner, AASA vice president and group executive of the ATC. “The 2013 ATC Fall Conference will provide a forum for marketing and technology executives from aftermarket supplier companies to dive deep into issues and emerging technology trends that will impact the aftermarket in the near and extended future.”
The ATC Fall Conference agenda is designed with the needs of automotive aftermarket suppliers in mind, Gardner explained.
“From the keynote addresses by top aftermarket channel partners to the ‘Member Spotlight’ presentations from council members, the Fall Conference is the only annual event in our industry focused on technology from the perspective of aftermarket supplier professionals,” he noted. “Individuals who are responsible for their company’s customer service, business support, e-commerce, information services, cataloging, forecasting, supply chain, EDI, IT/IS and Web services as well as sales, marketing and business development are urged to register and make room reservations as soon as possible.”
