More than 50 Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper warehouse distributor shareholders of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance arrived at the National Doral in Miami, Florida, this past weekend for the group’s annual winter meeting.

The Alliance kicked off the meeting yesterday, Sunday, Dec. 3, with closed-door meetings for the sales and marketing, information technologies, national accounts and product committees. The Alliance board of directors also met to discuss the group’s direction for the coming year. With nearly 500 in attendance, shareholders from across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America have joined more than 200 channel partners in collaborative joint sessions, receptions and a golf outing. The meeting will conclude Wednesday.

“During our meetings we discuss strategic plans, which not only applies to every member in the group, but our channel partners as well,” said Scott Bennett, president and CEO of Bennett Auto Supply and chairman of the Alliance board of directors. “In sharing these plans, we can leverage our strengths and continue to address the demands of the global aftermarket and supply chain to grow our business together.”
