The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), the heavy-duty division of the Motor Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), and MacKay & Co. have announced that Rick Dauch, president and CEO of Accuride will moderate an economic discussion as part of the fourth Annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference, to be held Jan. 25, 2016, at The Mirage in Las Vegas. HDAD immediately precedes Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2016.
The segment, titled “Economic Update,” will include Dr. Bob Dieli, president and founder of RDLB Inc., and Bill Strauss, senior economist and economic adviser of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Together, they will discuss of an array of topics affecting the economic outlook for 2016, including the level and trend in employment, the level and trend of trucking activity and the level of truck utilization as they relate to the current and future heavy-duty market.
Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue features individual presenters and panel discussions, including:
