AAM GROUP Announces ‘You Don’t Know Jack’ Newsletter Quiz

“You Don’t Know Jack” is a four-question multiple-choice quiz designed to reward shops for their brand and product knowledge of that issue’s sponsoring manufacturer.

The AAM Group, one of the largest program distribution groups in the SEMA marketplace, is adding a new regular feature to its print program newsletters starting with the November/December 2016 edition. “You Don’t Know Jack” is a four-question multiple-choice quiz designed to reward shops for their brand and product knowledge of that issue’s sponsoring manufacturer.

AAM Group - LogoThe group says “You Don’t Know Jack” is a fun way for shops to demonstrate their product knowledge and perhaps learn more and improve their selling chops. Readers can submit their answers online, and from among those who answer all questions correctly, one will be chosen each mailing period to receive a Performance Tool aluminum racing-style jack. The jack has a 1.5-ton capacity and comes to full height in just three pumps thanks to its dual-piston design. Also appearing for the first time is “Head’s Up,” a column that will list manufacturer price changes (including MAP/UMAP) that have gone into effect within the past 90 days.

AAM mails more than 11,000 newsletters to jobbers, retailers and shops five times per year. These free print pieces — Accelerator, Fastlane and Trailhead — communicate information intended to help automotive aftermarket retailers and installers run their businesses more effectively. In addition to “You Don’t Know Jack,” content includes helpful business tips and tactics, variable vendor inserts and catalogs, and articles that describe how to use AAM marketing tools and services to drive more local traffic and grow sales.
