AAIA Releases PBES Jobbers’ Financial Benchmarks for Success

The 2006 PBES (Paint & Body Equipment Specialists) Jobbers' Financial Benchmarks for Success report, a financial and operating profile of specialists in the paint, body and equipment industry, is now available from the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). This marks the first time AAIA has released a financial benchmarking study specifically for the PBE segment.

BETHESDA, MD — The 2006 PBES (Paint & Body Equipment Specialists) Jobbers’ Financial Benchmarks for Success report, a financial and operating profile of specialists in the paint, body and equipment industry, is now available from the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). This marks the first time AAIA has released a financial benchmarking study specifically for the PBE segment.

The PBES Jobbers’ Financial Benchmarks for Success report’s charts and graphs are intended to provide comprehensive, yet straightforward, guidelines for analyzing profitability among PBE specialists.

Data in the report includes gross margin, operating expenses and average collection period. Also included is a market segmentation to determine the impact on performance of the type of market in which a firm operates. The trend analysis section provides historical data for selected key ratios.
