STAUNTON, Va. – Federated customer Marc Duebber will be driving to work in something a little different when he gets back home to Cincinnati, Ohio. As the winner of the Federated/Standard “Dream Car Sweepstakes,” Duebber was able to purchase his dream car at the Mecum High Performance Car Auction in Kissimmee, Fla. Duebber chose a 2004 yellow Jeep Wrangler X.

“We want to congratulate Marc on winning the Federated/Standard ‘Dream Car Sweepstakes,’” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “I know Marc had a fun time at the auction and he is very excited about his purchase. We want to thank our partners at Standard for teaming up with us on what has become a very popular promotion with our members and customers.”

As the grand prize winner, Duebber, owner of Duebber’s Automotive in Cincinnati, and a customer of Cincinnati-based Federated member KOI Auto Parts, was awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to the Mecum Kissimmee Auction plus $15,000 to spend on a vehicle during the event. The contest was designed to reward Federated customers/associates for their support of quality components from Standard Motor Products.

Other prizes awarded were Apple iPads and Dell Inspiron laptops and participants could qualify for a $50 Visa gift card by supporting Standard brand fuel injectors, ignition coils and camshaft/crankshaft position sensors.

“Duebber Automotive has been a terrific customer of ours for many years, so we are thrilled that Marc won and had the chance to buy his dream car,” said Dave Wesselman, president of KOI Auto Parts. “Federated promotions conducted throughout the year have become very popular with our customers and counter people. We want to thank Federated and Standard for working together to create this memorable experience for Marc.”
