TRELLEBORG, Sweden – Trelleborg and Freudenberg have signed the final agreements to form a joint venture in antivibration solutions for light and heavy vehicles.
The new joint venture will comprise Trelleborg Automotive's operations in antivibration solutions and Freudenberg's corresponding activities, Vibracoustic. Trelleborg Automotive’s operations outside the area of antivibration are not affected.
First announced on Dec. 22, 2011, the deal has now been finalized. Completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant competition authorities.
