CANTON, Ohio — As part of Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week, The Timken Co. has announced the recipient of its 2011 Manufacturer's Representative of the Year Award. Timken presented this year's honor to Clay Tice, a representative with Kitchin & Sons, at a reception this week in Las Vegas.
 
Criteria for the award includes overall sales growth, new product growth, achieving technician training goals and meeting other metrics established for Timken manufacturer’s representatives.  
 
“We’re delighted to present this award to Clay for his contributions to our heavy-duty aftermarket team,” said Philip D. Varner, Timken’s national sales manager for the heavy-duty aftermarket. “Beyond exceeding the goals we set for our representatives, we’re proud of the way he advances the Timken brand while demonstrating Timken’s core values.”
