CYPRESS, Calif. – David Gooch, 58, senior director of human resources and general affairs of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc., passed away in California on Nov. 10 after a brief illness.
Gooch was a respected veteran of the tire industry, starting his career in human resources with Sumitomo Tire Corp.’s Dunlop unit, followed by an extended tenure at Pirelli Tire North America. He joined Toyo in 2008.
He is survived by his wife Denise, and children Colin and Courtney Blair.
