LAS VEGAS -- MAM Software Inc. has reported a successful participation in this year's Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW), including the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) Business & Education Conference and the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX).

The 64th Annual AWDA Business & Education Conference provided an opportunity for MAM representatives to meet one-on-one with customers and prospects from the aftermarket's warehouse distributor community. MAM Software says its involvement in the event was so successful that additional appointments had to be arranged outside of the event.

MAM Software adds that AAPEX, with an estimated 50,000 qualified buyers in attendance, was the ideal platform to launch its new Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and Business Intelligence (BI) module. Both releases, which integrate with MAM's existing Autopart management application, were well-received and attracted a great deal of interest from both current and prospective users, the company says.

Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
MAM's new Warehouse Management Software is an add-on for its Autopart management application that optimizes the flow of goods through a warehouse. Utilizing wireless hand-held scanners, the application handles all aspects of warehouse activity including put away, goods receiving, replenishment, inventory counts, picking and packing. The devices interact directly with Autopart, where a dedicated dashboard summarizes activity and enables managers to analyze and prioritize operations.

EMI+ Business Intelligence (BI) module
MAM's new EMI+ Business Intelligence module enables managers to analyze business performance. It allows customizable reports and charts to be generated and viewed in a dedicated PC dashboard, or remotely on portable devices such as iPhones and iPads. KPIs can be monitored and specific event triggers configured so that managers receive alert notifications via e-mail. This allows extraordinary events, such as sales drift, to be identified early and the appropriate action taken, MAM says.

"It has been a hugely rewarding week," said Brian Allibon, president of MAM Software Inc. "The launch of our paperless WMS features and our new BI tool were both very successful, and we were inundated with AWDA meeting requests. For the first time, we had to arrange additional sessions following on from the AWDA conference. We are delighted with the inquiries we received, which is further evidence of the growing reputation we have in the USA and the increased demand for our products and solutions."
