BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec Spectra Premium announce
that it has Experian Automotive’s Vehicles in Operation (VIO) data to help
advance its automotive aftermarket business by enabling stronger manufacturing
and inventory supply decisions on a real-time basis.
The
company says leveraging Experian’s VIO data will allow Spectra Premium to
provide its customers with automated stocking guides that create inventory
recommendations specific to each customer.
"At
Spectra Premium, we’re very much a data-driven company. In our sector, today,
there’s a real need for fresh, concise and accurate data, especially when it
comes to an assortment mix solution,” said Jason Best, vice president of aftermarket
sales and marketing for Spectra Premium. “Working with Experian Automotive on
this key initiative will help our market partners maximize their store level
inventory.”
Experian
Automotive’s VIO data is updated within four weeks of the end of each quarter,
ensuring that aftermarket organizations have the timeliest information
available, the company says. This comprehensive information allows Spectra
Premium to better manage inventory levels, efficiently plan for new part
introductions, and better assess product offerings.
Spectra
Premium will be discussing the launch of the automated stocking guides at AAPEX
booth No. 3061. Experian Automotive also will be at the show in booth No. 230.
