CHICAGO – Gold Eagle Co. has announced the launch of HEET Diesel Winter Treatment, a new product designed to provide protection for diesel engines during cold weather.
 
HEET's new diesel winter treatment is designed specifically for diesel engines to prevent cold weather fuel gelling and clean and protect the entire fuel system, and it's enhanced with cetane booster for faster starts and improved fuel economy, according to the company.

Gold Eagle says the HEET Diesel Winter Treatment solution treats up to 35 gallons of fuel and is designed to prevent fuel gelling down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. It reduces the cold filter plugging point by up to 36 degrees Fahrenheit, the company adds. During the winter, Gold Eagle recommends customers use this fuel additive during every fill to protect fuel systems and clean their fuel injectors.
 
For the 2011/12 winter season, HEET Diesel Winter Treatment will be available for sale at Wal-Mart and VIP Parts, Tires and Service stores nationwide.
