PORTER, Texas -- High performance synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple recently expanded its Porter, Texas, production facility. Six new 35,000-gallon blend tanks were added.

According to Royal Purple Production Manager Leigh McClellan, the additional tanks were added to help Royal Purple stay ahead of its double-digit sales growth.

“We’ve see increased demand for both industrial and consumer markets products,” said McClellan. “New tankage was necessary for us to continue JIT production.”

Royal Purple also will install two new packaging lines, doubling the company’s packaging capacity.

This year, Royal Purple has introduced several new products to the automotive retail market including the new High Performance Street (HPS) series of high-performance automotive motor oils, its new High Performance Marine (HPM) line of lubricants, a 0W-20 API SN-licensed motor oil and a new Racing ATF.
