FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Henniges Automotive, supplier of sealing and anti-vibration systems to the global automotive industry, has completed its acquisition of Nomaseal s.r.o., an automotive industry supplier of weatherseals. The company has a manufacturing facility in Hranice, Czech Republic, and a sales and technical center in Viersen, Germany.

Henniges says the acquisition strengthens the company’s ability to provide technical support and manufacturing expertise to European customers and global programs.

Nomaseal s.r.o. is highly regarded as the industry leader in TPE static sealing systems, according to Henniges. The company designs, develops and manufactures TPE weatherseals for automobiles with a strong and respected management team well-versed in rubber and TPE technology.

"The Nomaseal company provides an excellent complement to Henniges Automotive," said Robert DePierre, CEO of Henniges Automotive. "With this acquisition, Henniges will be able to provide sealing system products and services for our customers who have been requesting an expanded global reach, [and also] showcase our capabilities to attract customers located in the European markets, and continue to support current customers with the attention to quality they have come to expect."

With the addition of Nomaseal s.r.o., Henniges operates 13 manufacturing plants and five engineering and technology centers in North America, Europe and China.
