PORTLAND, Ore. -- Rentrak Corp., a leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, has announced that
Polk's consumer purchase behaviors, including vehicle make and model for the auto segment, has been combined with Rentrak's TV database ratings system and is now live in TV Essentials and StationView Essentials.
"By integrating Polk vehicle purchasing and ownership statistics with TV viewership data, Rentrak has created an offering that provides television advertisers the ability to identify the appropriate programming to advertise on based on their specific automotive campaign goals," said Andrew Price, vice president of Media Sales and Client Services, Polk.
"Rentrak's database currency has the ability to match TV viewership data from over 19 million televisions with automotive purchasing behavior in order to provide our local stations, agencies and network clients with the advanced targeting tool they need to attract additional advertising revenue from the automotive category, one of the largest spending categories for advertising dollars," said Bill Livek, CEO of Rentrak.
Rentrak is the television ratings database currency that provides daily measurement of all TV networks nationally and at a granular level for TV stations in all 210 media markets nationwide. The service incorporates information from more than 19 million televisions and is the only fully integrated system of detailed satellite, telco and cable TV viewing data commercially available.
