AKRON, Ohio -- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has hired Gregory Smith as senior vice president of global operations.
In this role, Smith, 47, will be responsible for global operations strategy, including supply chains, logistics, manufacturing, product quality and engineering. He reports directly to Rich Kramer, Goodyear chairman and CEO.
Most recently, Smith served as executive vice president of supply chain at ConAgra Foods Inc.
