WINNIPEG, Canada -- On the heels of its July
acquisition of Cars Collision Center, the Boyd Group has announced new executive management appointments.
In connection with this continuing growth and expansion, Brock Bulbuck, president and CEO of
Boyd Group Income Fund and its operating subsidiary, Boyd Group Inc. announced the following executive management appointments. Eric Danberg has been appointed president, Canadian Operations (operating as Boyd Autobody & Glass), while Kevin Comrie has been appointed chief marketing officer of the Boyd Group.
Danberg joined Boyd Group in 1997 and has held several senior management positions over the past 13-plus years, with the most recent being vice president operations, Prairie Region, for the past four years. In his new role, Danberg's responsibilities will now be expanded to include all Canadian operations, where he will continue to focus on operational excellence and performance, as well as continued growth and development of Boyd's Canadian operations.
"Mr. Danberg's operational leadership will serve our company very well in the continuing development and growth of Boyd Autobody & Glass in Canada," said Bulbuck.
Comrie, who joined Boyd in 1997 as vice president, sales and marketing, has led the company's Canadian sales and marketing initiatives and has taken a lead role in the introduction of consumer-based advertising into Boyd Group's U.S. business. Under his new role of chief marketing officer, Comrie will have company-wide responsibility for marketing leadership for all Boyd Group brands, as well as the necessary integration of brands resulting from Boyd's growth through acquisition.
"Mr. Comrie's experience and marketing leadership will effectively guide all of our marketing strategies, including our expanding consumer advertising strategies in the U.S.," added Bulbuck.
"Eric and Kevin both bring a wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and a long service record with Boyd to their expanded roles," Bulbuck said. "But more importantly, they embrace our vision of what the Boyd Group can achieve in the future. The Boyd Group continues to operate in growth mode and we are positioning our executive team to support our ongoing growth and continued success."
