JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. BAE Systems has named Bob Lamanna as director of global service and support for power and energy management, which includes its family of HybriDrive hybrid electric propulsion systems.
Lamanna will lead field support, spare parts, technical support, training and aftermarket sales to implement the processes, tools and infrastructure to ensure outstanding service and support worldwide. His team consists of program managers, support center personnel, the inventory team, field service and support groups and regional service leads.
“Bob’s appointment reflects BAE Systems’ commitment to product and customer satisfaction,” said Steve Trichka, general manager of power and energy management for BAE Systems. “He and his team will champion the continued development and implementation of our service infrastructure and aftermarket support that complement our products and meet the requirements of our customers and end users.”
Lamanna joined BAE Systems this spring. He previously served as director of customer solutions for Endicott Interconnect Technologies in Endicott, N.Y. Prior to that, Lamanna worked as global service and support director for Universal Instruments Corp. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University. He is based in Johnson City, N.Y.
