CARSON CITY, Nev. -- United Engine and Machine Co. (UEM) of Carson City, Nev., has appointed Glen Howard as its new national accounts manager.
 
Howard joins United Engine and Machine Co. with more than 30 years of automotive experience.

“Glen’s knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, performance and specialty OEM markets will allow UEM to continue to expand its product offering into all phases of combustible engines,” said Dan Qualls, director of sales and marketing of UEM.
 
Howard comes to UEM from Crane Cams Inc. in Daytona Beach, Fla., and Pioneer Automotive Inc. in Meridian, Miss. He says he is excited to be a part of the UEM sales team.

"With our current direction in sales, marketing and manufacturing, UEM has placed itself as the premier piston supplier in North America,” Howard said.  

Howard will report directly to Qualls.
