AZUSA, Calif. — Hanson Distributing Co. announces the appointment of industry veteran Steven A. Cox as chief operating officer. Cox will report to the company President and CEO Daniel L. Hanson.

Cox has held numerous executive level positions within the automotive aftermarket in the areas of retail, Internet, distribution and manufacturing. He comes to Hanson from Dorman Products.

“I’m looking forward to my return to the retail and distribution side of the aftermarket and the opportunity to work as COO for an industry-leading company like Hanson Distributing,” Cox said. “My goal is simple: Create value for the corporation, its employees and their customers.”
