DENVER, Colo. — Gates Corp. has announced that its water pump product line now offers more than 800 SKUs providing coverage for more than 250 million import and domestic vehicles in the U.S. and Canada. With more than 97 percent coverage of the growing hybrid market, Gates offers water pumps for the Toyota Prius, Honda Civic, Ford Escape, Nissan Altima, Saturn VUE, Toyota Highlander and Toyota Camry.

Gates added that other popular applications include water pumps with back housings that allow for replacement of the entire assembly with one unit, reducing installation time and ensuring trouble-free operation with fewer warranty claims and customer comebacks. With 24 SKUs covering more than 16 million vehicles in operation, Gates says it offers more water pumps with back housings than any other manufacturer.

Since 2006, Gates has been producing water pumps at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Yantai, China. New, precision engineered water pumps are designed and manufactured utilizing Gates' 3D finite element analysis (FEA) technology, premium casting alloys and advanced CNC machining procedures.

In addition, all Gates water pumps are manufactured new and are 100 percent production line quality tested.

Gates water pumps feature 100 percent fully tested unitized bearings/seals; computerized machined surfaces for proper fit and sealing; precisely balanced impeller for OE fit and function; quality packaging for intact delivery of components and a limited lifetime warranty.
