MIDLAND, Mich. — The University of the Aftermarket will offer an intensive, multi-day seminar titled “Better Aftermarket Decision Making Through Economic and Financial Analysis” Aug. 28 through Sept. 1 at Northwood University’s Midland, Mich., campus. Co-sponsored by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), the seminar will kick off the university’s new Executive Education Series for mid- and senior-level aftermarket professionals.

Each quarterly Executive Education Series program will examine a critical area of aftermarket business management, such as finance, economics, leadership, strategy, branding and sales and marketing. These intensive seminars will be led by the faculty of Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management as well as leaders of a variety of premier aftermarket organizations. All instruction will take place in Northwood’s state-of-the-art Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies.

“Today’s heightened competitive environment demands mastery of the many financial factors that drive smart business decisions. Our August program will feature in-depth instruction on each of the financial measures and tools impacting the long-term performance of aftermarket businesses,” said University of the Aftermarket Director Brian Cruickshank, MAAP. “Participants will come away from this session – and each of our Executive Education Series programs – with valuable new skills and strategic insight.”

Among the topics to be covered during the August workshop are:
