WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) has entered into a multi-year supply agreement with Continental Tire the Americas for commercial truck tires.

TA will supply its fleet and owner-operator customers with Continental tires at more than 220 TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube maintenance and repair centers it operates across the U.S. and Canada.

TA will offer its customers Continental’s best-selling HSL2 (Highway Steer Long Haul), HDL Eco Plus Drive (Highway Drive Long Haul) and HTL Eco Plus (Highway Trailer Long Haul) truck tires, providing more variety and additional tire supply in a market segment that has been in tight supply in recent months, according to TA. Each of the three tires is verified as EPA Smartway Transport Partnership low rolling resistance truck tires.

TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube truck service centers are currently adding inventory of Continental tires into their service centers with plans to begin selling by the end of May.

Continental tires will have national account availability. Additionally, customers will also be able to have emergency replacement Continental tires supplied by TA’s RoadSquad emergency roadside assistance program. RoadSquad is available 24/7/365 through over 400 rescue vehicles.
