ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- MAM Software has announced that Down East Auto Parts, an Auto Value distributor on Canada's Prince Edward Island, has upgraded to MAM Software's Autopart management system and has successfully deployed the solution throughout its business.

Down East's decision to install Autopart was driven by the company's recent expansion, according to President Michael MacPherson.

"We were opening a new store and had to expand our system," he said. "It was a good time to explore our options. After taking a close look at the capabilities of Autopart, we felt that the change to new technology would better accommodate our growth plans.

"It was a tough decision trusting a company that I had not heard of. My instincts told me that they had a lot to offer, so after an evaluation of their Autopart solution, I made the jump. It has proven to be the right decision; they did an excellent job installing the software and training my people. The software is perfect for my business, and MAM delivered on every promise."

MAM Software President Brian Allibon noted that the benefits are mutual.

"Every business partner we make improves our company and our solution," Allibon said. "Down East Auto Parts is a growing business and Mike MacPherson is well respected in the market. We look forward to continuing our work with him for years to come."
