GRAND BLANC, Mich. – ACDelco has introduced ACDelco Professional DuraStop power brake boosters, a new line of remanufactured, competitively priced boosters.

Combined with the ACDelco OE Service line, the launch broadens ACDelco’s brake booster coverage for GM and non-GM applications. The initial offering includes 234 part numbers (188 GM and 46 non-GM); and a second offering of 80 part numbers is expected to follow later in the year.

According to ACDelco, Professional DuraStop brake boosters offer the following features:

• 100-percent new seals and O-rings
• 100-percent leak tested
• All cast-iron units are coated to help extend part life and prevent corrosion
• All diaphragm support plates are inspected for wear and replaced if necessary
• Dust boots, diaphragms and check valves are inspected and replaced if required
• Housings are inspected for corrosion, wear and deformities
• New mounting nut and washer supplied on booster pushrod, where applicable, to help ensure proper installation
• Pre-adjusted master cylinder output rods where applicable
• 12-month, 12,000-mile warranty on parts

Now through May 31, when service centers “Make it ACDelco” by choosing ACDelco brake parts (Lines 14 and 17) for repair order needs through a participating ACDelco distributor, they can earn a hat and T-shirt emblazoned with the ACDelco logo.

The ACDelco brake portfolio of friction products and rotors is designed to offer customers choices based on product and price point; quality, durability and warranty; and performance. The lineup includes: ACDelco Advantage premium entry-level line, the ACDelco Professional DuraStop premium, competitively-priced mid-range line, and the top-of-the-line ACDelco GM OE Service line.

To participate, shops must purchase qualifying parts between April 1 and May 31 from a participating ACDelco distributor. Purchase requirements may vary by distributor, so service centers should consult their participating distributor or acdelcotechconnect.com for specific requirements. Once independent service centers fulfill the program requirements, they will receive the hat and shirt from the distributor.
