WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Enactment of Right to Repair legislation (H.R. 1449), which was re-introduced in Congress on April 8 by Reps. Edolphus Towns, D-N.Y. and Todd Platts, R-Pa., continues to be a priority for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and for this year’s Legislative Summit taking place June 20-21.

Also on the agenda for AAIA's Legislative Summit this year are health care reform and vehicle safety inspections.

This event provides an important opportunity for the aftermarket to show its economic and political strength by coming to Washington, D.C., during the summit meeting with legislators and educating them on key issues to the aftermarket and on the importance of the industry to the economy and the motoring public.

There is no fee to attend – attendees just have to make their travel arrangements. To find out how you can participate in the 2011 Legislative Summit, visit www.aftermarket.org.
