The Marx Group to Donate to Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Efforts through Facebook

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. – The Marx Group has announced an effort through the company's Facebook fan page to help the American Red Cross in its efforts to provide disaster relief to the victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. During the last two weeks of April, the agency will donate $1 per person to the American Red Cross for the first 2,000 individuals who "Like" The Marx Group Facebook fan page.
 
"This catastrophe, though it occurred halfway around the world, was an instant reminder that we are very fortunate and have an obligation to help," said Tom Marx, president and CEO of The Marx Group. "Even as our automotive aftermarket begins to recover from the recent economic downturn, we see our counterparts in Asia struggle to respond to the sudden devastation to their factories, plants and jobs. This is an easy way for The Marx Group and our peers in the industry to support the relief effort."
 
The Marx Group Facebook disaster relief effort is being held April 15-30 and is valid for one donation per person who "like" the page.
