STAUNTON, Va. – Federated Auto Parts will hold its annual national meeting April 27-30 at the Caribe Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

“Our national meeting is the perfect opportunity for our members to gather under one roof and discuss the issues that are important for their individual businesses and for Federated as a whole,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “In addition to some great presentations, the national meeting also serves as a chance for our members to meet with Federated manufacturing partners to learn about their plans for 2011.”

At the national meeting, Federated members will hear presentations on such topics as marketing, technology and merchandising, in addition to receiving updates from select manufacturers on their latest product offerings. Federated members also will have the chance to meet with the manufacturers in individual meetings. Also on the agenda, Federated will hold its annual awards dinner on April 28, where such awards as Vendor of the Year and the Art Fisher Memorial Membership Award will be presented.

“We have a lot of informative meetings and presentations planned for our national meeting,” said Bishop. “Just as important, our annual meeting gives our members the opportunity to meet informally and learn about each other’s businesses. We have had some great ideas and initiatives come out of our national meeting and we are looking forward to another great week in Orlando.”
