LEWISVILLE, Texas Four Seasons has received an “Extra Miler” award from AutoZone, which is given to vendors that AutoZone believes are "unfazed by obstacles, who go above and beyond the call of duty, who exceed expectations and consistently do more than is expected."
The award was presented to Four Seasons during AutoZone’s Vendor Summit meeting held recently in Memphis, Tenn. Dale Burks, Four Seasons vice president and Brian Skelly, Four Seasons director of retail sales, accepted the “Extra Miler” award on behalf of all Four Seasons employees from Phil Daniele, AutoZone vice president of merchandising, customer satisfaction.
“While it is always an honor to receive such an award, receiving the AutoZone ‘Extra Miler’ award is particularly notable since this is the second consecutive year for us to earn such a prestigious distinction,” said Burks. “The fact that Four Seasons has been a supplier to AutoZone for the last two years and has twice earned this recognition shows the dedication to excellence of each and every Four Seasons employee. It is this level of dedication that customers like AutoZone look for in a supplier.”
In his remarks, Daniele stated, “Overall, last summer was one of the best AC seasons we had on record at AutoZone for DIY and commercial, and while the weather contributed to the success, it would have not been possible to achieve the results we did without the help of Four Seasons.”
Four Seasons supported numerous initiatives for AutoZone and were instrumental in developing and launching a comprehensive AC kit program for their commercial and DIY customers that included market blitzes and technician training classes in both English and Spanish, an AC sales contest and a new AC commercial catalog to let customers know that AutoZone is a viable player in the AC aftermarket. Four Seasons also worked closely with AutoZone’s merchandising and marketing departments to develop an AC landing page for Autozone.com, worked with the cataloging group and Edgenet to ensure that its products were loaded and correct, and participated in the vendor collaboration project with Supply Chain.
Daniele concluded, “Four Seasons continues to raise the bar on category management and have worked with our team to develop an even better program for this summer that will help us to continue to build on the results from last year and have been instrumental in helping reduce unproductive inventory and ensure that we have the correct parts on the shelf to satisfy customer demand.”
