MADISON, Ind. — Grote Industries has announced that Robert "Jim" Holmes has accepted the position of Southeastern OEM regional sales manager.
 
Holmes has 15 years of experience in OEM sales and support, working most recently as sales manager with SSI Technologies in the sensor arena.

Eric Thorstensen, director of OEM sales for Grote, said Holmes’ experience is particularly important because of the increasingly competitive climate of the OEM lighting market.
 
“Jim brings a wealth of experience to this position in our OEM sales group,” Thorstensen said. “We are pleased to have him as part of our team.”
 
Holmes lives in Gainesville, Ga., and will operate from his home office. Holmes holds a degree in logistics with advanced studies in engineering, earned during military service. He is a retired U.S. Army Major (Combat Engineer) and has earned the U.S. Army Meritorious Service, Army Commendation and Army Achievement Medals, among others.
